Full Time PROJECT ENGINEER – SMT-PCBA Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,900 in MEGAVISION FOCUS SDN BHD Melaka - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the assigned project from NPI through mass production.
• Act as the primary engineering interface between customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Coordinate product transfer, engineering builds, pilot runs, and production readiness.
• Review customer drawings, BOMs, Gerber files, specifications, and engineering change notices (ECN/ECO).
• Coordinate SMT subcontractors to ensure quality, delivery, and production schedules are achieved.
• Monitor supplier performance, production progress, and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate plastic parts, wire harness, metal parts, and other component suppliers to support production.
• Support incoming quality, assembly process, functional testing, packaging, and final inspection activities.
• Lead First Article Inspection (FAI), process validation, and customer sample submissions.
• Investigate production and field quality issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions using 5 Why, 8D, and PFMEA.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documents, including Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, SOPs, Work Instructions, and engineering reports.
• Support APQP, PPAP, customer audits, and product qualification activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, productivity, delivery, and manufacturing cost.
• Coordinate engineering changes and ensure timely implementation across all suppliers and production processes.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Warehouse, Planning, and Logistics to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, and report project status to management.
• Travel to supplier and customer sites when required to support project activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in EMS, PCBA, electronics manufacturing, NPI, or project engineering.
• Good understanding of SMT, PCBA assembly, wire harness, plastic injection, and electronic product manufacturing.
• Experience managing subcontractors and external manufacturing partners is preferred.
• Familiar with BOMs, Gerber files, engineering drawings, ECN/ECO, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 is an advantage.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willing to travel for supplier audits, production follow-up, and customer support.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,900.00 per month
