  • Liaise with Central Engineering to align industrialisation milestones, deliverables, validation requirements and technology standards.
  • Review CMMs, OEM data, capability requirements, PNs and regulatory considerations to ensure capability readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with MOE, Part-145 SMS, HF, HSE and aviation regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage and coordinate controlled engineering documents including TCNs, MDI/MDR, NCRs and method change records.
2. Process Design, Validation & Documentation Control
  • Develop compliant, safe and efficient industrial processes, routings and layouts.
  • Conduct industrial validation including trials, capability studies and First Article Inspection (FAI).
  • Create and maintain MBOMs, routings, standard work instructions, process sheets, layout documents and specifications.
  • Ensure configuration control of all industrial data and proper change governance for tooling, process and documentation updates.
  • Incorporate TCN/MDI/MDR-driven changes into industrial documentation.
3. Technology, Equipment & Tooling Deployment
  • Specify, validate and support procurement of test benches, tooling, fixtures and industrial equipment.
  • Coordinate installation, commissioning, qualification and risk assessments for new industrial means.
  • Provide technical input for TPM and predictive maintenance assessments.
  • Introduce digital tools, automation and advanced inspection technologies to strengthen manufacturing capability.
  • Implement TCN impacts affecting tooling, equipment configuration or industrial layout.
4. Continuous Improvement & Method Harmonisation
  • Participate in Lean, QRQC, 8D investigations and standardisation initiatives to enhance flow, process stability and ergonomics.
  • Improve documentation quality, industrial clarity, repeatability and operational efficiency.
  • Benchmark with other Safran sites to adopt best practices and harmonise industrialisation approaches.
  • Analyse MDI/MDR trends to identify method gaps and drive documentation or process improvements.
  • Ensure continuous improvement actions comply with MOE, SMS, HSE and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

5. Business Case, Feasibility & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Develop business cases for new capabilities, capital equipment and process upgrades.
  • Perform ROI calculations, cost–benefit analysis, risk assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Present proposals and financial justifications to the Head Of Production.
  • Ensure industrialisation decisions support long-term capability growth, strategic alignment and compliance expectations.

Please note that the above duties do not represent all of the duties that the jobholder may be asked and expected to undertake. They may be expected to undertake other tasks as long as they fall within the broad remit of the job.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline..
  • 2-3 years of experience in industrialisation, methods engineering, process engineering, capability development or equivalent roles in aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of Part-145, industrial readiness, SMS, HF, HSE and process qualification/validation expectations.
  • Experience in developing industrial processes, routings (MBOM), layouts, work instructions and associated industrial documentation.
  • Practical experience with process validation, capability studies, First Article Inspection (FAI) and qualification activities.
  • Familiarity with managing controlled engineering documents such as TCNs, MDI/MDR and NCR, including industrial change governance.
  • Hands-on experience specifying and validating tooling, fixtures, test benches, industrial equipment, and supporting commissioning and qualification.
