Job Description
Responsibilities
- Check freshness of ingredients and prepare them to use for cooking the food ordered by customers such as peeling and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
- Responsible for or assisting in the cooking of dishes.
- Check cooking constantly to ensure that the standard of quality is achieved.
- Ensure presentation of dishes is accordance with the SOPs before serving to the customers.
- Receive and check ingredients, stocks and goods are in accordance with the purchase orders.
- Ensure all food stocks and goods are stored properly and ensure quality and freshness of stored ingredients are regularly checked.
- Maintain and adhere to hygiene, food quality, workplace safety, health policies and standards.
- Ensure compliance to the company’s rules, regulations and food preparation SOPs.
- Involve in cleaning duties including cleaning of workstations, dishes and wiping of fridges and stoves.
