Role Description The Project Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam, responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules for construction projects. This role involves preparing detailed work programs, tracking progress against plans, and updating timelines in coordination with project managers, engineers, and site teams. The Project Planner monitors project milestones, identifies potential delays, and proposes corrective actions to support project control and timely delivery. Daily tasks include analyzing project data, preparing reports for management and clients, and facilitating effective communication across internal teams and external partners. The position also requires ensuring planning practices align with company standards, contractual obligations, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong planning capabilities, including Planning & Scheduling and Planning skills, to develop and manage detailed construction project timelines.
• Solid Analytical Skills and Project Control experience to track progress, assess risks, and recommend corrective measures.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Experience in construction or engineering project environments, preferably with exposure to general contracting operations.
• Proficiency with project planning and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Shah Alam, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
