About the role

We are seeking a General Worker - Driver to join SGT Ventures SDN BHD on a full-time basis. This position is based in Putra Heights, Selangor and offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our dynamic team. As a General Worker - Driver, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by ensuring reliable and professional transportation services. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth functioning of our business activities and contributing to our overall operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining vehicles in a safe and professional manner
• Transporting goods, materials, and personnel to designated locations as required
• Ensuring timely delivery and collection of items in accordance with company schedules
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness checks
• Maintaining accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition
• Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations
• Communicating effectively with management regarding delivery status and any issues encountered
• Supporting other general duties as assigned by management

What we're looking for

• Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicles you will operate
• Proven experience as a driver or in a similar transportation role
• Strong knowledge of local roads and routes in the Selangor area
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and punctuality
• Ability to handle vehicles responsibly and perform routine maintenance checks
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanour
• Reliability and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical fitness to handle loading, unloading, and other general duties
• Familiarity with vehicle documentation and record-keeping procedures
