Full Time Cobol Programmer Jobs, in Neurones IT Asia - Maukerja

We are looking for an experienced COBOL Programmer ( 3 headcount) to join a banking technology team supporting the design, development, and enhancement of core banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for new initiatives and change requests.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, technical leads, offshore development teams, testers, and production support.
• Conduct technical analysis, effort estimation, and impact assessments for enhancements.
• Develop medium to complex applications in line with functional and technical specifications.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide technical guidance to offshore development teams.
• Support project delivery by identifying technical risks and contributing to successful implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of software development experience within the banking industry.
• Strong experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets.
• Hands-on experience with Core Banking applications and strong technical skills in: COBOL, DB2, SQL, Git / GitLab, Splunk, DBeaver, Eclipse
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Strong knowledge of software design, development, testing, and debugging.
• Experience working with distributed/offshore development teams.

Preferred Experience

• Banking products such as Securities, Equities, Options, Forex, Corporate Actions, Portfolio Management, and Derivatives.
• API integration and Digital Banking initiatives.
• Core Banking implementation experience with platforms such as Temenos T24, Avaloq, or Olympic.
