Position: Avaloq Developer

Employment Type: 4-month contract (renewable)

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Working Arrangement: Menara Southern Bank (MSB)

Working Hours in MY time: 9AM - 6PM

About the Role

We are seeking an Avaloq Developer to design, develop, and support Avaloq banking solutions for Private Banking and Wealth Management. The role involves application enhancement, regulatory compliance, production support, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Avaloq components using Avaloq Script and Oracle SQL/PL-SQL.
• Deliver regulatory and business enhancements (e.g., CRS, SST, Basel III, ACCIF, CCRIS).
• Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting data, batch, and interface issues.
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, post-implementation validation, and change management.
• Perform impact analysis and collaborate with vendors to validate solutions and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of hands-on Avaloq development experience; Avaloq certification is preferred.
• Strong expertise in Avaloq Script, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, Avaloq data model, and batch processing.
• Experience supporting Private Banking or Wealth Management systems in a regulated banking environment.
• Exposure to banking regulatory initiatives and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM16,000.00 - RM21,000.00 per month
