System Engineer – Malaysia

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join projects in Malaysia under the Infra & Digital Workplace domain. As part of the Cloud & Hosting Product Service Line (PSL), you will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud and hosting infrastructure across APAC. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless technology experiences, drive adoption, and support harmonization of standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and run datacenter infrastructure (VMware/Hyper‑V, Active Directory, SCCM, Citrix/VDI, Backup, Storage).
• Manage availability and capacity of on‑prem servers and cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with CyberSecurity teams to enforce security protocols.
• Support architects in developing technical roadmaps for upgrades.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Drive standardization and harmonization across APAC entities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years in cloud and hosting design, implementation, and management.
• Expertise in:
• On‑prem virtual server infrastructure
• Cloud architecture and migration
• Backup infrastructure, High Availability & Disaster Recovery
• Monitoring tools and troubleshooting (VMware console, SCCM, SQL Server setup, GPO, etc.)
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
