We're Hiring: Finance Executive – General Ledger & Reporting

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract

Experience: Minimum 2 Years

Salary: Maximum RM4800

We're looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive – General Ledger & Reporting to support end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) operations. If you have experience in General Ledger, financial reporting, month-end closing, and reconciliation within a Shared Services (SSC) environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of General Ledger and Reporting activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Provide audit support and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support finance projects, process improvements, and UAT testing.
• Maintain and update work instructions and documentation.
• Assist with operational matters and provide backup support when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Shared Services (SSC) covering General Ledger, Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliation, or full-set accounting.
• Experience with ERP Finance systems and Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Oracle is an advantage.
• Knowledge of VAT/GST regulations and their application.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
