Job Description

Responsibilities

As a People Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the healthcare workforce of the future. You will design and deliver impactful capability development programs that equip staff with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to advance TTSH’s vision of Adding Years of Healthy Life .

Responsibilities

  • Design & Deliver Training: Develop and facilitate capability development programs that enhance workforce performance and engagement.
  • Learning Needs Analysis: Partner with stakeholders to identify learning gaps and recommend targeted interventions.
  • Framework & Strategy: Establish learning frameworks and propose high-quality solutions to strengthen organisational health and excellence.
  • Curriculum Management: Ensure training materials remain current and aligned with clinical, operational, and industry best practices.
  • Program Development: Lead and deliver key initiatives such as corporate culture, service excellence, personal effectiveness, leadership, coaching, performance management, and train-the-trainer programs.
  • Evaluation & Reporting: Conduct pre- and post-training activities, including evaluations, ROI analysis, and learning impact reports.
  • Digital Learning: Source, assess, and implement innovative digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Transformation Support: Contribute to organisational transformation projects that drive mission achievement and workforce capability.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, Social Sciences, Education, Technology/Engineering/Sciences, or Healthcare. Graduates of other disciplines may also be considered.
  • Certification: WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) or Advanced Certificate in Learning & Performance (ACLP).
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of classroom training delivery experience across diverse industries.
  • Skills:
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills for varied audience sizes.
  • Ability to influence and build rapport across all organisational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Competence in content authoring tools (PowerPoint, Articulate 360).
  • Mindset: Passion for learning innovation and commitment to workforce development.
