Role Description The Executive, Ecosystem & Collaboration is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam. This role involves building, sustaining, and coordinating strategic partnerships with government agencies, industry players, academia, and community organisations to support Smart Selangor initiatives. The executive will manage stakeholder engagement activities, including meetings, workshops, and collaborative projects, and ensure clear documentation and follow-up on agreed actions. Responsibilities include supporting ecosystem mapping, identifying collaboration opportunities, preparing proposals and presentation materials, and contributing to cross-functional project teams. The role also requires monitoring partnership outcomes, preparing regular reports, and supporting events, outreach programmes, and innovation-related activities aligned with SSDU’s smart state objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership management capabilities, including the ability to collaborate with government, private sector, academia, and community groups.
• Skills in project coordination and ecosystem development, with experience supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives or programmes.
• Excellent communication skills, including professional writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication in diverse settings.
• Analytical and research abilities to map ecosystems, identify collaboration opportunities, and support data-informed decision-making.
• Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., office software, online collaboration platforms) and ability to prepare clear reports and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Public Policy, Urban Planning, ICT, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest or experience in smart city/smart state, innovation ecosystems, or digital transformation initiatives is an advantage.
