Backend Developer (.NET Core)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.
• Build high-performance, reliable backend systems capable of supporting concurrent users and real-time applications.
• Design and optimize database solutions using both SQL and MongoDB, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Implement caching strategies (e.g. Redis) to improve application performance and reduce database load.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, leveraging containerized deployments where appropriate.
• Design and build microservices with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and resilience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement long-term improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience working with both MySQL and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience implementing caching technologies such as Redis.
• Experience building applications on AWS (e.g. EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
• Strong understanding of multithreading, asynchronous programming, and concurrency in .NET.
• Experience designing and building microservices and distributed systems.
• Good understanding of OOP principles, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is highly preferred.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message queues.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience building high-concurrency, low-latency backend systems.
• Experience in the gaming, entertainment, or real-time application domain.
