Job Summary

Provide expert IT support by servicing customers under software maintenance contracts, troubleshooting network issues, and installing and configuring servers, network devices, and operating systems to ensure optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support and maintenance services to customers under software maintenance contracts, ensuring timely resolution of issues
• Diagnose and resolve network-related problems within MS Windows and Office 365 environments to maintain network stability
• Install and migrate operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Citrix to support business continuity
• Configure and deploy servers, Cisco routers, and firewalls such as Cisco PIX, Checkpoint, and Watchguard to secure and optimize network infrastructure
• Set up and maintain MS Windows environments to ensure reliable system operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or professional IT certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or CNE
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting MS Windows or Unix/Linux networking environments

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of VMWare or HP/IBM Blade servers and SAN storage technologies
• Working knowledge of HP and IBM servers, Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls
• Familiarity with MS Active Directory design, routers, firewalls, storage area networks, and Microsoft Exchange Server
• Proficient in spoken and written English
