Full Time ACCOUNT ASSISTANT Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,000 in SUPPLY MATTERS SDN.BHD. Selangor - Maukerja

Supply Matters is a cross-border supply and freight company based in Shah Alam. Since 2009 we have helped businesses and project owners source, move and deliver what they need across Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean.

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our small finance team. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their accounting career who wants to learn properly — you will work directly with our senior finance staff and see the full transaction cycle, not just one small piece of it.

What you will do

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in our accounting system
• Process supplier invoices and match them against purchase orders and delivery documents
• Support customer invoicing, statements and follow-up on outstanding accounts
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation working papers across several accounts and currencies
• Keep financial records organised, complete and ready for audit
• Help migrate our accounts onto a new accounting system — excellent hands-on learning

What we are looking for

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field — or part-qualified with some transactional experience
• A sound grasp of basic double-entry bookkeeping
• Genuine attention to detail — in this role, accuracy matters more than speed
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and willing to learn new software
• Organised and methodical, particularly with filing and documentation
• Willing to ask when unsure rather than guess
• Trustworthy and discreet with confidential information

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Prior exposure to Odoo or QuickBooks, or to a trading, freight or logistics business, is an advantage but not required.
