Job Description
Responsibilities
- To manage Microbiology laboratory in areas of technical, operational and financial aspects.
- To supervise personnel and their work activities according to the operating systems/procedures and to ensure all work is performed effectively and efficiently.
- To review and authorize test reports (signatories) for the laboratory and other Chemsain laboratory, if applicable.
- To develop and implement new method of analysis.
- To review and formulate costing for test method, including the reduction of hazardous chemicals for each analysis.
- To prepare quotation/proposal/tender.
- To liaise with customers, branch offices and internal divisions on analysis related matters including quotation.
- To oversee training programmes and to identify training needs for the laboratory.
- To comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Policy of the Company.
- Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Management
