Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced System Analyst to support the implementation, enhancement, and delivery of our Hospital Management System (HMS). The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the existing healthcare product, coordinating with the Business Analyst and Development teams, and ensuring smooth project execution throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

System Analyst will act as the functional lead by providing product guidance, managing communication between teams, supporting project delivery, and working closely with customers during testing and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Hospital Management System (HMS) product, its workflows, modules, and business processes.
• Review and understand existing Functional Specification Documents (FSD), business requirements, and product documentation.
• Act as the primary functional liaison between the Business Analyst team, Development team, QA team, and project stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Business Analyst team to obtain functional clarifications and ensure accurate implementation by the development team.
• Coordinate and manage the development team throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Provide functional guidance to developers and support issue analysis during development and testing.
• Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables align with project timelines and functional expectations.
• Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and production rollout activities.
• Work directly with customers during SIT, FAT, UAT, and Go-Live activities to provide functional support, answer product-related queries, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Analyze reported issues, perform functional impact assessments, and coordinate with the Business Analyst and Development teams to resolve them.
• Support production issues, change requests, product enhancements, and post-implementation activities.
• Ensure successful integration with third-party healthcare systems such as LIS, PACS, Insurance, Payment Gateway, and other external systems.
• Ensure solutions comply with organizational standards, healthcare regulations, and project governance.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of ASP.NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, and LINQ to effectively communicate with the development team and understand application architecture.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React to understand front-end functionality and user interface behaviour.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database concepts, stored procedures, and query analysis for issue investigation and functional validation.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, Web Services (REST/SOAP/JSON), and system integration concepts.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7 is highly preferred.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps, Git, JIRA, or similar tools for work item tracking, issue management, and collaboration.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, software deployment processes, and release management.
• Familiarity with deployment environments such as IIS, Azure App Services, Docker, or on-premise infrastructure is an advantage.
• Ability to understand system architecture and integrations with third-party healthcare systems.

Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to understand and interpret existing Functional Specification Documents (FSD), business requirements, and system documentation.
• Experience coordinating Business Analysts, Development teams, QA teams, and project stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of software testing processes including SIT, FAT, UAT, regression testing, defect management, and production support.
• Ability to analyze functional issues, obtain clarification from the Business Analyst team, and guide the Development team during implementation.
• Experience managing project delivery and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Experience working directly with customers during testing, deployment, and post-Go-Live support.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a System Analyst, Functional Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role in enterprise software development projects.
• Experience coordinating Business Analysts, developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience supporting SIT, FAT, UAT, deployment, and post-Go-Live support.
• Experience with Hospital Management Systems (HMS), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), or other healthcare applications is highly preferred.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Microsoft, Agile, Scrum, or related professional certifications are an advantage.
• Smooth production deployment and post-Go-Live support.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
