Responsibilities
As M Tach Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd continues to expand our capabilities in high-precision machining and module assembly, we’re looking for a passionate Project Engineer (Module Assembly) to join our growing engineering team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-value projects serving industries such as semiconductor, medical, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and manage new module assembly projects from planning through completion.
• Develop assembly processes, SOPs, work instructions, inspection requirements, and project documentation.
• Coordinate closely with CNC machining, assembly, quality, engineering, purchasing, and production teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Work with suppliers on technical discussions, purchased components, quality matters, and delivery schedules.
• Plan assembly sequences, tooling, manpower, materials, and project timelines.
• Support trial builds, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and customer project handovers.
• Drive improvements in quality, efficiency, cost, and delivery performance.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
Fresh graduates from reputable universities with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, GD&T/tolerances, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
Strong analytical thinking, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on attitude with a willingness to work closely with technicians and production teams.
Experience or knowledge in CNC machining, mechanical assembly, pneumatics, automation, or electrical wiring will be an added advantage.
