Job Summary

As General Manager (Operations), you will lead daily operations and a team of 30 employees to drive operational excellence, enforce systems, and collaborate with Directors to achieve company goals and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily company operations and workflow to ensure smooth business functioning
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of approximately 30 employees to enhance performance and engagement
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, productivity targets, and timely job completion
• Build, improve, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational systems to optimize efficiency
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, and productivity to maintain workforce effectiveness
• Resolve operational and customer issues promptly and effectively to uphold service quality
• Collaborate closely with Directors to align operations with company goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Required competencies and certifications

• Demonstrated experience in Operations or General Management as essential for role effectiveness
• Proven management experience of 5–10 years overseeing teams of 15–50 employees
• Experience in service, retail, automotive, workshop, hospitality (F&B), logistics, or related industries
• Strong leadership skills to build, coach, and manage teams effectively
• Hands-on, disciplined, responsible, and results-driven approach to operational management
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges independently
• Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in sales, especially Corporate (B2B) sales, business development, or key account management is an added advantage
