Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and portion food according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and workstations.
• Follow all food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or wastage.
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO), and receiving deliveries.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily output targets.
• Assist in developing and improving recipes and production processes.
• Support other kitchen operations as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a central kitchen, commercial kitchen, catering, or food manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP/Food Hygiene Certification is an advantage).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg when required.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Able to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts if required.
