Electrical Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical assembly based on drawings.
  • Ensure assembly conforms to specifications, quality and test requirements.
  • Interpret and follow electrical wiring diagrams and engineering drawings to complete equipment assembly accurately.
  • Independently perform electrical wiring and assembly while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pumps, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems to ensure reliable equipment performance.
  • Perform complete machine setup, commissioning, functional testing, and quality inspections prior to final delivery.
  • Adherence to all safety rules and regulations in the workshop.

Requirements

  • Higher NITEC or equivalent in Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in machine assembly is an added advantage.
  • Able to read engineering drawings.
  • A team player with positive learning attitude.
  • Proactive in looking for solutions to solve problems.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in equipment assembly and electrical troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagram drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to work overtime should the need arises.
