·      Strong design and programming skills in Java and related server side technologies. (Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs).

·      Strong working experience in SQL and ETL.

·      Strong working experience in UNIX and Linux environment.

·      Strong knowledge and experience with micro services required.

·      Experience in insurance domain.

·      Experience working in insurance policy administrative system, analytics/reporting and product rules configuration.

·      Knowledge in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) will be added advantage.

·      Experience in MQTT or Messaging protocol based technologies (Messaging and Async architectures) will be an added advantage.

·      Good understanding of SCRUM and Agile methodologies.

·      Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or IT related disciplines

·      7-20 years of relevant working experience

·      Candidate must have good interpersonal skill, problem solving and business acumen

·      Preferably with hands-on experience in the DXC suite of software, including Integral, VP/MS, Product Stage, Integral Business Analytics, PrintXpress, Front End, and Ignasia.

·      Knowledge of IBM MQ is also preferred.

·      High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.

·      Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
