About the role

I Design & Build Sdn Bhd' is seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial management and cost control of our construction projects. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analyzing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, including tracking expenditures, managing variations, and ensuring adherence to budgets
• Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts
• Providing expert advice and support to the project management team on all financial and contractual matters
• Preparing progress reports and financial statements for clients and stakeholders
• Identifying potential cost savings and efficiencies throughout the construction process
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the construction industry
• Extensive knowledge of construction cost management, contract administration, and project controls
• Strong proficiency in using relevant software, such as estimating and project management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and the project team
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
