About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end AI and Machine Learning solutions that solve real business challenges.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the entire data science lifecycle—from understanding business requirements and preparing data to building, optimizing, and implementing machine learning models that create measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Machine Learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI and Data Science solutions.
• Perform data exploration, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and optimization.
• Evaluate different machine learning algorithms and justify model selection based on business and technical requirements.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable Python code.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science technologies.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical decision-making where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end Machine Learning or AI projects in a commercial environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of statistics, predictive modelling, feature engineering, model evaluation, and performance optimization.
• Ability to explain business problems, model selection rationale, implementation challenges, and project outcomes clearly.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently while taking ownership of technical deliverables.

Nice to Have

• Experience with NLP, Computer Vision, Recommendation Systems, Time Series Forecasting, or Generative AI.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with MLOps, ML pipelines, or model deployment.
• Experience mentoring junior team members or leading technical initiatives.
