Software Engineer Job Description:

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain software applications and system components using C++.
• Build efficient, reusable, reliable, and maintainable C++ code following software engineering best practices.
• Enhance and maintain existing software systems to improve performance, quality, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop performance and quality-related modules to support product and system improvements.
• Identify software bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues, and propose effective solutions.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and optimization of software applications.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and modern software development methodologies.
• Work with multi-threaded applications, memory management, and low-level system programming where required.
• Develop supporting software tools and automation scripts using other programming languages such as Python.
• Collaborate with colleagues, engineers, and stakeholders to implement technical designs and deliver project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
• Use version control, software configuration management, and development tools effectively throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation where necessary.
• Perform any other related duties or responsibilities assigned by the manager.

Software Engineer Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with multi-threading, memory management, and low-level systems programming.
• Familiarity with software development tools and IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio, Eclipse, or Xcode)
• Proficiency in other programming languages e.g. Python etc. is preferred.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, version control, and debugging techniques
• Basic understanding of SCM or software configuration management
• Latest knowledge of development methodologies and modern software design
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
