Engineering Supervisor (Instrumentation / Valve Automation)

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead our engineering team supporting industrial valve automation and instrumentation systems for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Process industries. This role focuses on the engineering and technical support of automated valves, actuators, control systems, and related instrumentation , ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with customer specifications and international industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of Technical Engineers and Drafters supporting valve automation and instrumentation projects .
• Review engineering deliverables including control schematics, wiring diagrams, general arrangement drawings, datasheets, and test procedures.
• Ensure engineering documentation complies with project specifications and applicable industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance on valve automation systems, pneumatic and hydraulic actuation systems, and instrumentation .
• Review engineering changes and recommend cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Support project kick-off meetings, customer technical clarifications, factory acceptance testing (where applicable), and after-sales technical support.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support engineering process development and team competency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in valve automation, actuators, instrumentation, or control valve engineering , preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Good understanding of automated valves, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, and instrumentation systems .
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 12490, API 6DX, IOGP S-707, SHELL DEP , or similar industry standards is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP is a plus.
