We import, distribute and supply to restaurants, food courts, caterers, ship chandlers and wholesalers. Our product range include dried provision items like cooking oil, dried beans, herbs and spices, commodities and canned food.

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organised Admin Assistant to support the daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer orders, issuing purchase orders, co-ordinating with customers and suppliers and providing general administrative duties and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process customer sales orders accurately and promptly using the ERP system to ensure efficient order handling
• Prepare and issue local purchase orders to suppliers via the ERP system to maintain procurement flow
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm orders and monitor delivery schedules for timely receipt of goods
• Coordinate with the sales team and warehouse to ensure orders are fulfilled on schedule
• Manage daily inventory movements and replenish warehouse stock to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Handle filing, data entry, and document management to support administrative accuracy
• Respond to email correspondences and phone calls professionally to maintain clear communication
• Perform general administrative duties and complete other assigned tasks to support operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficiency in basic MS Office applications to perform daily computer tasks effectively
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Good organisational and communication skills to coordinate with teams and suppliers

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level educational qualification
• At least 1 year of office work experience in a related field
• Positive working attitude and ability to collaborate as a good team player
