Role Description The Assistant Manager / Manager, Business Development (Leasing) is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This role is responsible for identifying and securing suitable locations for Koufu’s various brands, negotiating lease terms, and managing landlord relationships to support business growth. Day-to-day activities include market research on potential sites, evaluating commercial viability, preparing leasing proposals, and coordinating with internal stakeholders such as operations, finance, and marketing. The role involves monitoring lease renewals, analyzing rental costs, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The successful candidate will contribute to expansion strategies, maintain an updated pipeline of opportunities, and support decision-making through data-driven insights and regular reporting.

Qualifications

• Business development and leasing skills, including experience in site sourcing, lease negotiation, and portfolio management.
• Market analysis and research capabilities, with the ability to evaluate locations, consumer traffic, and commercial feasibility.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills to work effectively with landlords, agents, and cross-functional internal teams.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, including understanding of rental structures, ROI considerations, and budgeting.
• Proven organizational and project management skills to handle multiple leasing projects and timelines concurrently.
• Previous experience in retail, F&B, or commercial property leasing in Singapore is highly advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
