We're Hiring | Flow Assurance Engineer

Are you passionate about Flow Assurance, engineering studies, and delivering optimal technical solutions across complex projects?

Do you have strong experience in Flow Assurance analysis, modelling, and technical support, and enjoy working within multidisciplinary and international engineering teams?

At CELESTAL, we are currently supporting a major international energy project and are looking for a Flow Assurance Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team.

️ Your Responsibilities

Flow Assurance Analysis & Studies

• Perform and develop Flow Assurance scopes of work, including model development and analysis of results

• Provide Flow Assurance analysis and technical support for projects ranging from Conceptual Studies to Detailed Design

• Perform Flow Assurance studies independently, with input and support from the team leader

• Conduct Flow Assurance analyses to identify optimal solutions based on client drivers and project requirements

• Perform design calculations and assist with Engineering and Field Development studies

️ Engineering Deliverables & Technical Support

• Produce Process and Flow Assurance deliverables under the direction and supervision of a Lead or Principal Engineer

• Take responsibility for the content and quality of Flow Assurance work within the discipline

• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate Flow Assurance results and recommendations

• Perform simulations of selected cases as defined

• Support the completion of safe and operable designs in accordance with project requirements, relevant laws, regulations, and codes

Collaboration & Project Coordination

• Liaise with other disciplines on applicable engineering interfaces

• Communicate regularly with the Study Manager to ensure project objectives are achieved in a timely manner

• Participate in engineering coordination meetings, safety and design review meetings, and project presentations where required

• Collaborate with the wider engineering team and other global offices

Knowledge Sharing & Business Development

• Participate in Flow Assurance business development activities to support other offices

• Contribute to global Flow Assurance team knowledge-sharing initiatives

• Support the team leader and perform reasonable tasks required by the supervisor

What We're Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

️ Engineering degree, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering

️ Minimum 7 years of experience in Process and Flow Assurance

️ Minimum 5 completed Process / Flow Assurance projects

️ Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and fluid characteristics

️ Knowledge of thermodynamic fluid properties and phase behaviour

️ Good understanding of separator, compressor, pump, heat exchanger, and safety valve sizing

️ Technical Expertise

️ Strong understanding of key Flow Assurance issues, including hydrates, wax, scale, corrosion, asphaltene, and liquid management

️ Good Flow Assurance modelling experience using OLGA, Pipesim, PVTsim, Pipenet, or similar software

️ Experience with process modelling using HYSYS, Flarenet, or Flaresim would be an advantage

️ Ability to deliver project deliverables, including operational philosophies and system design

️ Broader process engineering skills would be an advantage

️ Ability to work independently while collaborating with wider engineering teams
