Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare tax schedules and support tax filings in coordination with tax advisors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably serving multiple clients or in an outsourced accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
