Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support for desktop infrastructure, Microsoft 365 Suite, and Microsoft Servers to maintain operational stability for financial services clients
• Support and maintain security platforms including Microsoft, Sophos, Mimecast, Duo, and Umbrella to ensure robust cybersecurity defenses
• Implement hardware and software projects such as office relocations, client onboarding, platform upgrades, data migrations, and server room activities as part of project teams
• Provide out-of-hours support through an on-call rota to ensure continuous service availability
• Build, configure, and maintain Windows 11 workstations and Microsoft Office environments, supporting financial services and trading platforms
• Administer and configure Microsoft Entra components including Identity, Conditional Access, and App Management to manage secure access
• Manage Office 365 suite components including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Autopilot, and Purview to optimize collaboration and compliance
• Support email security and smart host platforms, leveraging Mimecast expertise to protect communications
• Administer enterprise antivirus solutions, specifically Sophos, to safeguard endpoints
• Support and administer enterprise two-factor authentication solutions including DUO and Microsoft Authenticator to enhance identity security
• Manage enterprise remote access VPN solutions such as Meraki and Cisco AnyConnect to enable secure connectivity
• Administer, maintain, and configure Windows Server 2016 and later versions, including Entra hybrid environments, Active Directory, and File Services to ensure reliable server operations
• Provide enterprise cloud file sharing support to facilitate secure data access and collaboration
• Apply knowledge of Microsoft Azure concepts to support cloud infrastructure needs
• Support cloud backup technologies to ensure data protection and recovery capabilities
• Provide Mac OS support to maintain cross-platform compatibility

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with Mobile Device Management platforms to manage corporate mobile assets
• Knowledge of desktop virtualization technologies including Windows 365, Azure Desktop, and Citrix to support flexible work environments
• Administration and configuration experience with virtualization platforms such as VMWare and HyperV to optimize server resources
• SQL management experience to support database administration tasks
• Meraki WiFi and network device support experience to maintain network infrastructure
• Cisco networking experience to support enterprise network environments
• General networking experience to troubleshoot and maintain network connectivity
