Job Summary

Perform routine checks, service, and testing of fire protection systems. Troubleshoot and rectify system failures promptly. Lead teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and testing of fire protection systems to ensure operational reliability
• Troubleshoot system failures and perform immediate rectification to minimize downtime
• Maintain and safeguard all tools and materials to support efficient service delivery
• Adhere strictly to safety policies and foster a positive, collaborative work environment
• Provide 24-hour standby emergency breakdown service on a rotational basis to ensure rapid response
• Lead and coordinate team activities to achieve service targets and maintain quality standards
• Report and update the Manager on onsite status and progress to facilitate informed decision-making
• Plan and coordinate work with main contractors, users, and third parties to ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of all project and service documentation for compliance and reference
• Conduct site surveys and client show rounds for new additions or alterations and follow up with accurate quotations
• Apply for and obtain Permit To Work approvals from main contractors before commencing rectification or parts replacement works

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
• Ability to work independently and maintain target orientation under stressful conditions
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the fire protection field
