Main Role and Responsibilities:
A Quality Control Inspector (QCI) ensures that vehicles and parts meet quality and safety standards. You are expected to find and fix problems, maintain records, and improve processes, all to make sure customers are satisfied and safe.
Core Responsibilities
- Call-in check when receiving vehicle(s).
- Ensure all job card(s) are duly updated.
- Perform inspection & road test before releasing any vehicle(s) to customer.
- Ensure that the correct spare(s) are installed accordingly in the vehicle(s).
- Manage IMTE equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with the industry and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of findings and deviations, creating reports as needed.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineering team to address the issues faced.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve quality and efficiency as part of process improvement.
- Contribute to customer trust by upholding quality standards
- Maintaining detailed records of inspections & defects and creating reports for management and customers.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualification, Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Possess a valid Class 4 or 5 Driving License.
- Experience in Inspection is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma
