As a leading provider of engineering and construction services in the oil and gas industry, we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about pipelines and has a strong background in offshore pipeline design and construction.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore pipeline design and construction, with a focus on FEED/Detailed Design, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning activities.
The candidate should also have experience working with pipeline engineering software and be familiar with industry standards and regulations.Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee pipeline design and construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations- Develop and review FEED and Detailed Design documents for offshore pipelines- Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and drawings for pipeline materials and equipment- Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for pipeline design and construction- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects- Provide technical support during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards- Mentor and guide junior engineers in pipeline design and construction activities- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate new technologies and practices into projectsRequirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field- Minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore pipeline design and construction- Experience in FEED/Detailed Design, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning activities- Proficient in pipeline engineering software- Familiar with industry standards and regulations- Strong project management skills and ability to lead a team- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment- Willingness to travel and work on-site when requiredIf you are a highly motivated and experienced engineer with a passion for pipelines, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Star Services LLC.
