  • Description
  • Equipment & Inventory Tracking: Assist in maintaining the hardware asset management system by logging equipment types (e.g., rack servers, blade servers, switches, SAN storage) and tracking inventory status (e.g., deployed, spare, decommissioned).
  • Verify Firmware Compatibility: Learn how to check vendor hardware compatibility lists (HCL) and assist in verifying that server firmware versions (BIOS, BMC/iLO/iDRAC) match the required baselines before deployment.
  • Assist with Provisioning: Help provision and configure basic cloud resources (such as virtual machines and storage buckets) under the guidance of senior engineers to meet project requirements.
  • Support Automation Scripts: Assist in maintaining and updating simple scripts or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates used for automated resource deployment.
  • Follow Security Baselines: Learn and apply standard security and compliance guidelines when configuring resources to minimize early-stage vulnerabilities.
  • Update Technical Documentation: Review, update, and maintain internal documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure they reflect current cloud configurations.
  • Compile Operational Reports: Gather data and help prepare regular reports on cloud resource usage and provisioning trends for review by senior team members.
  • Participate in Capacity Learning: Attend team planning sessions to learn about infrastructure requirements, capacity forecasting, and how cloud scaling works in a production environment.
  • Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma Graduate/Professional Degree specialized in IT/Computer or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Virtualization (VMware/KVM) and Linux/Windows administration.
