Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, tender documents, and quantity take-offs.
• Manage tendering, procurement, and evaluation of contractor/subcontractor quotations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Support contract administration, claims, and commercial negotiations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on commercial matters.
• Provide cost reports and identify opportunities for cost control and savings.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–8 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contracts, procurement, and project cost management.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with local construction projects and standard forms of contract is an advantage.
