About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Developer – RF Protocols to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of next-generation telecom network testing solutions. You will develop backend services, implement telecom protocol decoders, optimize application performance, and support LTE, 5G NR, GSM, and WCDMA technologies across a large-scale C#/.NET and C++ platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain telecom protocol decoders for LTE, 5G NR, GSM, and WCDMA.
- Implement chipset-specific ICD updates for Qualcomm, Samsung, and MediaTek platforms.
- Decode throughput metrics including PDSCH, PUSCH, and MAC DL/UL throughput.
- Develop protocol parsers for NAS, RRC, RLC, MAC, and PHY layers.
- Design and implement backend orchestration systems and workflow execution.
- Develop and maintain geospatial map UI components using TypeScript.
- Optimize application and SQL Server database performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve customer-reported defects.
- Support release management, changelogs, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams on product enhancements and architecture improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in C#/.NET and C/C++ development.
- Deep understanding of LTE, 5G NR, GSM, and WCDMA protocols.
- Experience implementing chipset ICD specifications.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Understanding of telecom protocol stacks including NAS, RRC, RLC, MAC, and PHY.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Qualcomm, Samsung Exynos, or MediaTek chipset decoding.
- TypeScript development for UI or geospatial applications.
- Experience using QXDM, Wireshark, or similar protocol analysis tools.
- Knowledge of telecom analytics, benchmarking, or network optimization.
- Experience working with large datasets and high-performance parsing.
