Job Description:

• Stand in as 2nd in-charge and manage daily site operations.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities effectively
• Manage manpower, machinery and material efficiently
• Check, supervise and inspect (as appropriate) all civil, structural, architectural and external works performed by subcontractors on site to ensure that quality works are produced.
• Co-ordinate and sequence subcontractors work according to the master and detailed construction schedules.
• Monitor progress against schedule and take corrective actions
• Ensure site safety rules and safe work procedures
• Take ownership of site performance and outcomes

Job Requirements:

• At least 5years of relevant construction site experience
• Familiar with construction sequencing and site planning
• Familiar with risk assessment, permit to work and incident reporting
• Proven experience supervising site works and managing daily operations
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Exposure to Main Contractor site environment is preferred
• Works well under pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• Decisive, proactive, solution-oriented and able to work independently with minimum supervision
