About Clay Clay

Clay Clay is a pottery painting studio where people come to relax, get creative, and make something uniquely their own. From walk-in sessions and date nights to family outings, corporate team building, and private events, we create memorable experiences through creativity.

We're looking for enthusiastic and creative interns to join us as Studio Operations Interns.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome customers and help them settle into their pottery painting session.

  • Guide customers throughout their experience and provide friendly assistance.

  • Share simple painting tips, colour combinations, and creative design ideas.

  • Prepare paints, brushes, tools, and pottery before each session.

  • Keep the studio clean, organised, and ready for the next group.

  • Label, pack, and organise finished pottery for collection.

  • Support corporate workshops, private events, and group bookings.

  • Assist with day-to-day studio operations and customer service.

  • Brainstorm and develop fun, kid-friendly pottery painting themes and workshop activities.

  • Capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos for social media when required.

Who We're Looking For

  • Friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with people.

  • Passionate about art, crafts, design, or creative experiences.

  • Responsible, proactive, and willing to learn.

  • Able to stay calm and helpful during busy studio sessions.

  • Enjoy working with children and coming up with engaging creative activities.

  • Available to work on weekends.

  • No pottery experience is required — full training will be provided.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in customer service, retail, events, teaching, or the arts.

  • Comfortable working with children, families, and corporate groups.

  • Basic content creation skills using TikTok, Instagram, Canva, or similar tools.

  • Experience planning children's activities, art classes, workshops, or holiday programmes.

What You'll Learn

  • How to facilitate engaging creative workshops.

  • Pottery painting techniques and studio best practices.

  • Customer service and event operations.

  • Workshop planning and children's programme development.

  • Behind-the-scenes operations of a growing creative experience business.
