Job Title: Systems Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an individual to take on the exciting role of implementation and commissioning of theme park attractions. This role involves being the go-to expert for datacenter systems and communications infrastructures specific to the seat tractions, working closely with the Controls Systems in Engineering and Safety group. The responsibilities encompass creating, implementing, and sustaining industrial data centers and communications for attractions. This includes installation, troubleshooting, commissioning and acceptance testing.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Center and Virtualization Management:

   - Install and configure VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter Server on physical servers.

   - Configure vSAN Witness Appliance for cluster quorum.

   - Perform installation, configuration, and deployment of VMware ESXi hypervisor on physical servers.

   - Configure ESXi host settings including hostname, networking (IP, DNS, VLAN), and security parameters.

   - Setup and manage storage (NAS) including datastores.

   - Create and configure virtual networking (vSwitches, port groups).

   - Linux knowledge for system setup, configuration, and integration where required.

2. Domain Controller Services and Application:

   - Install and configure Domain Controllers, Active Directory, domains, OUs, DNS and DHCP.

   - Install software/applications such as Syslog servers, SNMP servers.

3. Documentation and Best Practices:

   -Create Technical documents and guides.

   -Perform SATs (Site Acceptance Test)

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in Data Center and virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, vSphere, vSAN, vCenter, Windows Server, Linux Server).

- Proficient in managing common services(SNMP, Syslog, DNS, NTP, DHCP, AD).

- Strong analytical skills with network troubleshooting skills.

- Hands-on experience in deploying and troubleshooting servers.

- Expertise in deploying, trouble shooting, and maintaining VMWare and Windows Server 2019 and 2021.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with atleast 5 years of project experience in ESXi and server implementation.
