Role Description The Reporter role at MES Innovation Sdn Bhd is a full-time, on-site position based in Cyberjaya. The Reporter will gather information from internal and external sources, conduct interviews, and research topics related to civil engineering, technology, and company activities. Day-to-day tasks include writing news articles, reports, and feature stories, producing multimedia content such as photos or short videos, and preparing materials for both digital and print channels. The role also involves collaborating with technical and marketing teams to ensure accurate and engaging coverage of product updates, events, and industry trends, while meeting deadlines and maintaining editorial quality standards.

Qualifications
- Strong Reporting skills, including information gathering, interviewing, and fact-checking.
- Excellent Writing and News Writing abilities to produce clear, accurate, and engaging content.
- Effective Communication skills for working with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Basic Multimedia skills, such as handling images, audio, or video for news and feature content.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills in regional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and maintain attention to detail.
- Familiarity with civil engineering, technology, or software industries is beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Comfort with standard office and content tools (word processing, online publishing platforms, basic design tools).
