The Role

As the Module Leader, you will be the cornerstone of your specific equipment area (e.g., Lithography, Etch, Thin Film, or Metrology). Your focus will shift from daily firefighting to strategic excellence:

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, train, and inspire a team of Equipment Engineers and Technicians. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Drive Module KPIs: Take full accountability for your module’s metrics. Optimize Tool Availability, drastically improve MTBF, and implement strategies to minimize MTTR across the board.
• Advanced Problem Solving: Act as the highest level of technical escalation for complex hardware/software failures. Champion 8D and cross-functional Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Vendor & Budget Management: Manage relationships with OEM vendors, coordinate major tool installations or retrofits, and assist in managing the module's spare parts budget.
• Quality & Safety Champion: Ensure your entire team strictly adheres to Class 10/100 cleanroom protocols, EHS regulations, and ISO standards.

What It Takes to Succeed

• Experience: Deep technical experience in Wafer Fab Equipment Engineering, with a proven track record of mastering specific tool platforms.
• Leadership Spark: Previous experience mentoring juniors, leading major tool projects, or stepping up as an acting supervisor.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strategic Mindset: Strong expertise in FDC, SPC, FMEA, and Lean Manufacturing, with the ability to look beyond a particular tool and see the entire manufacturing process.
• Communication Pro: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical issues into clear strategies for both upper management and your reporting technicians.
