Wildcare is a Malaysian biodiversity technology company building the next generation of digital infrastructure for biodiversity, conservation, and environmental intelligence.
We believe the future of biodiversity will be shaped by the convergence of science, engineering, artificial intelligence, geospatial technologies, remote sensing, robotics, and software; not by traditional conservation alone.
We're currently building our core digital ecosystem and are looking for a Founding Full Stack Software Engineer to help architect and develop the technology that will power our future.
What You'll Build?
This is not a typical website development role.
You'll be involved in building an integrated digital ecosystem consisting of:
• Public-facing websites
• Biodiversity knowledge platforms
• Scientific databases
• GIS & geospatial applications
• Satellite and Earth observation integrations
• AI-powered environmental tools
• Field expedition management systems
• Future marine and terrestrial technology platforms
Our long-term roadmap also extends into underwater mapping, autonomous systems, robotics, and aerospace-enabled biodiversity monitoring.
Who We're Looking For?
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving difficult technical problems and wants to build products with real-world impact.
You don't need to know everything. Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn are more important than knowing every framework.
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
• React / Next.js
• Node.js
• TypeScript
• REST APIs
• PostgreSQL
• Cloud platforms
• GIS or mapping technologies
• AI integration
• Modern web architecture
