Job Description

The HR Executive provides critical administrative and operational support to the HR team within the construction domain. This role focuses on handling end-to-end foreign manpower processing via Work Permit Online (WPOL), managing onboarding and offboarding procedures, and overseeing monthly pass renewals. Additionally, the HR Executive takes charge of staff dormitory administration, coordination of site worker welfare, and general HR operations to maintain compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations in a fast-paced contractor environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Manpower Administration & WPOL Processing

• Execute foreign workforce onboarding and offboarding activities for construction hires in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Handle Work Permit Online (WPOL) operations, including pass applications, issuance, cancellations, and monthly work permit renewals.

• Manage employee headcount administration and documentation for a workforce (around 10+ workers).

Dormitory & Foreign Worker Welfare Management

• Oversee foreign worker housing arrangements, staff dormitory check-in/check-out procedures, and ongoing accommodation compliance.

• Liaise with dormitory operators to ensure living conditions adhere to Ministry of Manpower (MOM) guidelines.

General HR Support

• Maintain up-to-date employee records, work permit files, and personnel data.

• Perform other administrative duties and ad-hoc HR tasks assigned by the HR Lead/Management.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

• Diploma in Human Resource Management OR minimum 1 year of hands-on HR experience within the construction/contractor industry.

• Proven experience in handling foreign manpower hiring and WPOL procedures for construction site workers.
