Responsibilities

Job Summary

Support project management by leading site coordination, preparing technical submissions, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards for building engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager by managing on-site technical and engineering matters and preparing authority submissions to ensure project compliance.
  • Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, Method of Statement (MOS), monthly progress claims, and project management reports to support project tracking and approvals.
  • Lead site coordination and execution activities to align construction progress with project goals and timelines.
  • Plan micro scheduling with other trades and disciplines to synchronize tasks against the master program for efficient workflow.
  • Update structural, architectural, and M&E progress using scheduling tools to maintain accurate project timelines.
  • Supervise and monitor project activities to ensure adherence to company operating procedures, quality standards, and contractual specifications.
  • Ensure supervisors and foremen comply with client regulatory work requirements to maintain project integrity.
  • Verify compliance with Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklist to facilitate project handover readiness.
  • Oversee all inspection activities to guarantee quality and safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Enforce environmental, safety, and health practices consistently on-site to maintain a safe working environment.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by the PE Board/BCA
  • 4-5 years of experience managing building engineering projects

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience with Precast, Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC), or Modular Engineering Technology (MET) projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
  • Completion of Quality Management (QM) project and registration as a Core-trade Foreman or Supervisor
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a positive work attitude
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Effective analytical, supervisory, and communication skills
