Job Description

Responsibilities

At Presto Studios, we believe that confidence grows through music.

We are an award-winning boutique music school dedicated to providing exceptional music education in a warm, nurturing and inspiring environment.

As a growing studio, every team member plays an important role. We're looking for someone who loves working with people, enjoys variety in their work, and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

About The Role

This is a dynamic, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety. You will be the face of Presto Studios, ensuring every student and family has an exceptional experience while supporting the daily operations and growth of the studio.

One moment you'll be welcoming a new family for their trial lesson. The next, you'll be organising a student concert, taking photos and videos for social media, helping a parent choose the right programme, preparing teaching materials, or ensuring the studio is running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Welcome students, parents and visitors warmly.
  • Build strong relationships with our families.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at every interaction.
  • Respond to enquiries via WhatsApp, phone and email.
  • Support student onboarding and ongoing customer care.
  • Resolve customer issues professionally and proactively.

Sales & Admissions

  • Follow up on new enquiries.
  • Arrange and coordinate trial lessons.
  • Recommend suitable programmes based on students' needs.
  • Convert enquiries into enrolments.
  • Maintain accurate enquiry and CRM records.
  • Support student retention initiatives.

Studio Operations

  • Coordinate lesson schedules with teachers.
  • Prepare classrooms and teaching resources.
  • Order books, materials and studio supplies.
  • Assist with payments and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure the studio remains organised, welcoming and well-presented.

Events & Community

  • Support the planning and execution of student concerts, workshops, holiday programmes, open houses and studio events.
  • Coordinate registrations and communications.
  • Assist with venue setup and event logistics.
  • Welcome guests and support event-day operations.
  • Take photos and short videos of lessons, performances and events.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes moments for social media.

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Loves working with children and families.
  • Is warm, friendly and approachable.
  • Enjoys talking to people and building relationships.
  • Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Is organised, proactive and dependable.
  • Enjoys variety rather than repetitive work.
  • Has excellent attention to detail.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Is willing to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, education, retail or sales is an advantage.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Confident using a smartphone for photos and videos.
  • Able to work a 6-day work week, including Saturdays. Sundays and selected studio events.

Why Join Presto Studios?

At Presto Studios, you'll be part of a close-knit team that genuinely makes a difference in the lives of children and families. You'll enjoy a varied role, opportunities to learn new skills, contribute to meaningful events, and help create memorable musical experiences.
