About this Opportunity

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead our vessel procurement function and support our growing vessel management operations. Based in Singapore and reporting to the General Manager – Supply Chain, you will lead and work closely with procurement teams across Singapore, Australia and Philippines, while partnering closely with operational, technical, finance and commercial stakeholders to deliver exceptional procurement performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily vessel procurement operations and team performance.
  • Monitor PR/ PO backlog, delivery performance and workload balancing.
  • Drive procurement governance, compliance, and supplier management.
  • Ensure compliance with Procurement Policy, DOA, HSEQ, Modern Slavery and audit requirements.
  • Improve procurement processes, ERP systems (IFS), and reporting.
  • Reduction of manual process required during end-to-end process.
  • Reduce manual approval of invoice.
  • Partner with category management to improve supplier performance and contract utilization.
  • Lead procurement system and process improvements including IFS enhancements, automation and reporting.
  • Drive standardization and digital transformation.
  • Deliver cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Support dry docks, vessel mobilizations, ERP implementations, shared services and procurement transformation.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing procurement team.
  • Own procurement KPIs, dashboards, buyer productivity, ageing reports and management reporting.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years' procurement experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within marine, offshore, shipping, or heavy industry.
  • Strong experience in supplier and contract management, ERP systems (IFS preferred), and stakeholder management.
  • A collaborative leader with excellent commercial acumen, communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strategic & operational procurement, contract management, supplier management, spend analysis, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel.
  • People leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, commercial acumen, change leadership, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
