RESTAURANT MANAGER

Job Description:

We are looking for a Restaurant Managerto lead all aspects of our business. You willdeliver a high-quality menu and motivateour staff to provide excellent customer service

Restaurant Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals.You will ensure efficient restaurantoperation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, andcustomer-service standards.

To be successful in this role, you’ll needmanagement skills and experience in both front and back of the house. We want youto know how to oversee the dining room,check-in with customers and balanceseating capacity. Back of the house management experience is also essential,as you’ll hire qualified Cooks and Wait Staff, set work schedules, oversee foodprep and make sure we comply with healthand safety restaurant regulations.

We’ll expect you to lead by example and up lift our sta! during busy moments inour fast-paced environment. Ultimately,you will ensure our restaurant runssmoothly and customers have pleasantdining experiences

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Front of the Houseand Back of the House restaurant operations
• Deliver superior service and maximizecustomer satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately tocustomer complaints
• Regularly review product quality andresearch new vendorsOrganize and supervise shifts
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Estimate future needs for goods,kitchen utensils and cleaning products
• Ensure compliance with sanitationand safety regulations
• Manage restaurant’s good image andsuggest ways to improve it
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Create detailed reports on weekly,monthly and annual revenues and expenses
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouthand restaurant events
• Recommend ways to reach a broaderaudience (e.g. discounts and socialmedia ads)Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
• Implement policies and protocols thatwill maintain future restaurant operations

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as aRestaurant Manager, RestaurantGeneral Manager, HospitalityManager or similar role
• Proven customer service experienceas a manager
• Able to work during weekends andpublic holiday if require.
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B)knowledge, with ability to rememberand recall ingredients and dishes toinform customers and wait staff
• Familiarity with restaurantmanagement software, like
• OpenTable and PeachWorks
• Strong leadership, motivational andpeople skills
• Acute financial management skills
• BSc degree in BusinessAdministration; hospitalitymanagement.
