Note: Successful candidates need to be comfortable with working on weekends and shift as and when required

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer MongoDB databases in production environments.
• Manage MongoDB replication, sharding, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Perform backup, restore, disaster recovery, and database migration activities.
• Administer MongoDB Atlas and on-premises MongoDB deployments.
• Implement database security, user access controls, and auditing.
• Support cloud-based MongoDB deployments on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Work closely with development teams on schema design and query optimization.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and monitoring dashboards.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Skills

• 5+ years of MongoDB Administration experience.
• Strong expertise in MongoDB Replication, Sharding, Aggregation Framework, and Indexing.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas, MongoDB Enterprise, or Community Edition.
• Experience with backup and recovery tools (mongodump, mongorestore).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting database performance.
