In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with industry leading companies in the Energy & Chemical sector to establish strategic collaborative R&D partnerships and business deals.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with industry leading companies in the Energy & Chemical sector to establish strategic collaborative R&D partnerships and business deals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Generate leads, prospect new businesses by networking, or through other means of generating interest from potential clients
- Take ownership of customer accounts, manage and strengthen relationships with executive C/B-level stakeholders
- Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities for growth, negotiate and close business deals
- Work closely with the technical team and lead translation of research outcomes to business viable products
- Lead conversations with customers to capture business and technical requirements to provide proposals for projects
- Coordinate and integrate not only ARTC but also sister research institutes to deliver business viable solutions Maintain customer relationships to strategically place new products and drive projects for long-term growth Create and implement business plans, prepare and conduct commercial growth presentations Lead translation of research outcomes to industry adoption
- Bachelor in any engineering and science related discipline
- Experience working in the Energy & Chemical sector would be an added bonus
- Proven track record of successful business deals closure
- At least 3 years of working experience in B2B business development, enterprise sales/account management or marketing
- Strong business acumen, driven to deliver customer requirements and project deadlines
- A team player and technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver to internal and external customers
- Professional presentation and communication skills for management level audience, both written and verbal.
- Positive attitude, resilient and agile, quick to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
