About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer (L3) to support enterprise network infrastructure and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for advanced network troubleshooting, configuration, implementation, monitoring, and optimization across LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and SD-WAN environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 network support for complex infrastructure incidents and escalations.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise routers, switches, wireless networks, and firewalls.
- Support LAN/WAN and SD-WAN infrastructure across enterprise environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
- Manage VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and network connectivity.
- Support Cisco networking technologies, including routing and switching.
- Monitor network availability, capacity, performance, and security.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical network incidents.
- Support network migrations, upgrades, implementation, and infrastructure refresh projects.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, routing, firewall, and performance issues.
- Work with internal infrastructure/security teams and external vendors to resolve complex incidents.
- Prepare and maintain network diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Participate in change management and network maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Network Engineering experience.
- Strong experience in Cisco Routing & Switching.
- Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLAN, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex L2/L3 network issues.
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies is highly preferred.
- Experience with enterprise firewall technologies such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower/ASA, or similar.
- Experience with enterprise wireless networking is advantageous.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or similar.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or multi-site network environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
